MLM and what they actually do for you.What is an MLM? The easiest way to talk about these, is by giving it the correct title – Multi level Marketing. So now we have defined exactly what they are, what does it mean? They really are very easy to understand: Person A has found a great product to promote – not his own but one of the many out there. Person A recruits 2 people – (let’s call them B and C), and person A receives 10% of the profit from the sale. That is great, and that follows the usual affiliate sale, but the MLM goes slightly deeper. When Person B and C goes out to sell, Person's B and C gets 10%, but Person A also gets an additional percent – let’s call it 5%. The great thing about this model, is that Person A has a direct interest in making sure that persons B and C recruit and do well. It is basically a pay it forward scheme. Within this environment, everyone is paid well, and your referrals become passive income earners for you. You have heard of the 7 steps of separation? Well with MLM this becomes much more important, especially with the making of social networking sites. I have over 200 friends on Facebook, and I could try to sell to them... but I only get to sell to them once. Say 100 of those buys the product, and each of them has 200 friends which I do not have access to... do you see the power of these programs now? It really does give you the power to passively market and as long as your referrals get plenty of support from you, you get a passive income stream as well from their referrals. A pretty neat little money maker for you both actively and passively! There are a few different ways that MLM’s work which are: 1) Straight affiliates You sell a product and then get paid a percentage 2) Cyclers This is where you buy positions, and they cycles giving you a return on your investment. 3) Paid to surf This is really great, as you get paid to surf websites. Some are automatic, some are manual. 4) HYIP These are High Yield investment programs – generally known as Ponzi schemes, although they can be made to run forever by clever mathematics and business models.
